Hotel Receptionist

Purpose of Position:

To be totally customer focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly, and effective approach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcoming and greeting guests in accordance with SOPs.
Check-in and check-out guest’s accordance with company standards.
Provide keys, show guests to room, and deliver luggage as required.
Provide excellent customer service.
To communicate any enquiries to the relevant department in a timely manner, ensuring that all information is correct.
Deal with all calls and emails efficiently and effectively.
Deal effectively with all queries relating to your shift as required.
To respond to any telephone or email reservations enquiries and ensuring that all queries are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
Making reservations and take payments for future bookings.
Basic cleaning duties in the public areas.
Ensuring billing is correctly carried out to the hotel standards.
To assist other departments if required with basic tasks.
Prepare, delivery food and drinks for breakfast and room service.
Participate with training and coaching of team members as required.
Attend training when required.
To be fully aware of and strictly adhere to Health and Safety, fire, and security procedures.
