This role can be based in Belfast or Donegal.
The Cluster Revenue Manager is responsible for developing and implementing revenue strategies across multiple properties. This role involves close collaboration with the Group Director of Sales & Marketing, as well as with individual hotel sales, marketing, reservations, and revenue teams. The goal is to optimise revenue streams and achieve key performance targets. The successful candidate will leverage strategic pricing, market analysis, and distribution strategies to maximise both profitability and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement tailored pricing strategies per property.
Conduct daily pickup and market trend analysis to adjust strategies.
Provide weekly forecasts and variance analyses against budget.
Assist with monthly forecasting and annual budgeting cycles.
Perform benchmarking to assess market positioning.
Monitor market conditions for proactive rate management.
Evaluate group business opportunities with strategic pricing.
Oversee third-party distribution strategies and channel mix.
Ensure booking engines and revenue systems are optimized and updated.
Maintain accurate configuration and functionality of RM systems.
Analyse monthly performance reports to identify trends and opportunities.
Deliver insights to drive long-term revenue growth.
Align revenue strategies with hotel teams in operations, sales, marketing, and reservations.
Support reservation departments in maintaining service standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Revenue Management Expertise: In-depth knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing strategies and market analysis.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Property Management Systems (PMS), booking engines and related hospitality software.
Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical and data interpretation abilities.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Adaptability: Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adjust to dynamic market conditions.
Work Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Leadership: Proven skills in team leadership and people management.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Training: A combination of relevant formal education, professional training, and/or certifications in revenue management or a related field.
Professional Experience: At least three years’ experience in a revenue management role.
Industry Background: Previous experience working in the hospitality environments.
