When you purchase a job listing, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details — these are handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure. We receive a payment confirmation and a transaction reference from Stripe.
We may collect standard technical information when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URL. This information is used to keep the site secure and to understand how people use it.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Under UK GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following:
When you apply for a job, your application (name, email, phone, cover letter, and CV) is shared with the employer who posted the role. By submitting an application you consent to this transfer.
We use the following trusted third-party processors who act on our instructions and are bound by data processing agreements:
| Processor | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database hosting, authentication, file storage | EU / AWS |
| Stripe | Payment processing | USA (Standard Contractual Clauses apply) |
We do not share your data with any other third parties except where required by law (e.g. in response to a valid legal request from a court or regulator).
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the UK ICO — to give your data an equivalent level of protection.
| Data type | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Job application (name, email, CV, cover letter) | 6 months from submission, then deleted |
| Employer account data | For the lifetime of the account, plus 2 years after account deletion |
| Payment records | 7 years (required by HMRC accounting rules) |
| Technical / log data | Up to 90 days |
Where data is no longer needed, we delete it securely or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you.
As a data subject you have the following rights. You can exercise any of these by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within one calendar month.
