1. Who we are

NIjobsearch ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at nijobsearch.com — a job board connecting employers and job seekers in Northern Ireland.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, NIjobsearch is the data controller responsible for the personal data you provide to us or that we collect when you use this site.

Payment information

When you purchase a job listing, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details — these are handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure. We receive a payment confirmation and a transaction reference from Stripe.

Usage and technical data

5. Who we share data with

Employers

When you apply for a job, your application (name, email, phone, cover letter, and CV) is shared with the employer who posted the role. By submitting an application you consent to this transfer.

Service providers (data processors)

We use the following trusted third-party processors who act on our instructions and are bound by data processing agreements:

Processor Purpose Location
Supabase Database hosting, authentication, file storage EU / AWS
Stripe Payment processing USA (Standard Contractual Clauses apply)

We do not share your data with any other third parties except where required by law (e.g. in response to a valid legal request from a court or regulator).

International transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the UK ICO — to give your data an equivalent level of protection.
