About the Role

<p>Reed Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a well-established manufacturer based in Newry who are seeking a motivated and reliable Stores / Warehouse Operative to join their team.</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>This is a hands-on position within a busy warehouse environment, supporting the day-to-day operations involved in handling and distributing goods and associated accessories.</p> <p>Working Hours</p> <p>Monday – Thursday: 6:30am – 5:00pm</p> <p>Friday: 6:30am – 4:00pm</p> <p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits</strong></p> <p>Annual salary 38,220 – 40,768</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>29 days holiday</li><li>Standard pension scheme</li><li>Full training provided</li><li>Immediate start available</li></ul> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Managing all incoming and outgoing goods</li><li>Handling heavy goods</li><li>Preparing goods for dispatch, sale, delivery, or collection</li><li>Coordinating closely with administration and fitting teams</li><li>Ensuring stock is organised and warehouse operations run efficiently</li></ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials</li><li>Valid Forklift Truck licence/certificate</li><li>Full driving licence (essential) – occasional van driving between two sites and local deliveries required</li><li>CSR Site Card desirable (can be obtained quickly if not already held)</li><li>Strong teamwork and communication skills</li></ul> <p>Our client is looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, practical environment.
