<p>Technical Manager</p> <ul> <li>Longford - Rep Ireland</li><li>65,000 -&nbsp;75,000</li><li>Job Type: Full-time</li></ul> <p>We are seeking a Technical&nbsp;Manager to lead our Quality&nbsp;teams, ensuring the safety, legality, and quality of our products. This role is crucial for providing specialist support and strategic input to achieve both factory and business objectives.</p> <p>Day-to-day of the role:</p> <ul> <li>Act as the Department Head for Quality Assurance and Laboratory, controlling budgets and setting strategic direction.</li><li>Provide a support service to the manufacturing operation to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, food safety, and legal requirements.</li><li>Promote a Quality culture within the business and provide technical support to factory and business projects.</li><li>Lead activities to drive quality and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Establish positive relationships with relevant Regulatory Authorities.</li><li>Ensure that specifications and HACCP principles are in place to deliver safe products.</li><li>Lead the Central Laboratory function to establish comprehensive, cost-effective testing regimes in support of HACCP verification and demonstration of ‘due diligence’.</li><li>Maintain an intake control system for materials used in food manufacture.</li><li>Provide risk evaluations and expert advice to support serious incident management.</li><li>Maintain awareness of emerging issues and relevant legislation.</li></ul> <p>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Expertise in HACCP, Microbiology, Chemistry, and Quality Assurance systems.</li><li>Strong process and data analysis skills.</li><li>General management experience including budgeting, presentations, and team management.</li><li>Degree or HND/HNC in a relevant discipline.</li><li>Relevant experience in a food technical management role.</li></ul> <p>Key Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Leadership</li><li>Best Development</li><li>Impact and Influence</li><li>Bold Delivery</li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Some travel will be required, including international.</li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.</li><li>Dynamic and supportive work environment</li></ul> <br />
