• Location: North Belfast
• Contract: 12-month contract | Full-time | Hybrid working (after 6 months)
• Salary: £44,318 per annum

Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with an excellent organisation based in North Belfast. They are currently seeking a Senior Finance Administrator to join their team on a full-time, 12-month contract.

The successful Senior Finance Administrator will support their operations by ensuring full financial probity and adherence to the accounting and finance policies. This role is crucial for maintaining a fully auditable and reliable finance administration.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring appropriate approvals, accurate coding, and timely payment.
• Maintain financial records, performing account reconciliations and verifying banking transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Administer expense claims and coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements in line with organisational policies and budgets.
• Manage benefit and claim-related payments, confirming eligibility and obtaining the necessary approvals.
• Maintain accurate records within internal systems and support teams with financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Process and reconcile income received through various payment channels, maintaining robust financial controls and accurate records.
• Work collaboratively with IT and other internal departments to support system administration and operational processes.
• Provide general administrative support and undertake additional duties as required to support the wider team and organisational objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 3 years demonstrable experience in a senior finance administrative capacity is essential.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• High degree of discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Awareness of security issues related to cash handling and a flexible approach to changing processes or practices.
