You’ll enjoy the freedom of a home based setup while working closely with a management team that genuinely values your input.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify and underwrite new commercial risks — property &amp; liability</li><li>Review and analyse renewals and endorsements</li><li>Manage workflow and ensure timely processing</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries</li><li>Maintain and develop strong broker relationships, including visits when required</li><li>Stay up to date with regulations and underwriting standards</li><li>Support wider business initiatives and projects</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>3&#43; years’ commercial underwriting experience</li><li>Strong understanding of underwriting operations</li><li>Confident analytical and decision-making skills</li><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building ability</li><li>Comfortable working independently in a local/home based environment</li><li>Progress toward CII preferred</li><li>Strong negotiation skills and a proactive mindset</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Day-to-Day Snapshot</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assess and underwrite SME and mid-market accounts</li><li>Strengthen and grow broker relationships</li><li>Resolve underwriting queries with the wider team</li><li>Engage with brokers and insureds</li><li>Monitor market trends and guidelines</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p>For a confidential chat, call , drop me a message, or send your CV to </p>
