<p><strong>Saw / CNC Machine Operator required (Days)! - Experience is essential!! </strong></p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Belfast BT3</p> <p><strong>Days Shift </strong>- 8.00am - 5.00pm - Mon - Fri (40hrs)</p> <p><strong>Salary</strong>: &#163;28,338.40pa (&#163;13.46ph)</p> <p>Our client in Belfast BT3 is currently looking for a fulltime Saw/CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a Saw/CNC Machine Operator, you will be required to work in a factory environment as part of a team. Experience is essential!!</p> <p><strong>Duties:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operating a billet prep / saw machine</li><li>Band or Chop Saw experience essential adhering to health and safety at all times</li><li>Checks to material allocated to be cut, length, width, thickness, spec, alloy, grain direction, lot number before cutting</li><li>Checks to cut plan, and any additional drawings to agree with advised sizes on sale order before cutting</li><li>Cuts and verifies parts are within customer required tolerances, using tape, micrometer, and caliper instruments</li><li>Program saw for cutting operation.</li><li><strong>FLT Counterbalance -</strong> Operates fork trucks and jib cranes when required</li><li>Checks to first off cut piece, and random checks during the sale order, Belfast specific 100 % dimension checks on all parts for C/29 (Bombardier)</li><li>Marks each part with hard stamp, grain flow, USD, lot number</li><li>Labels each part with any required SP requirements</li><li>Performs daily maintenance checks to metal saw</li><li>Weighs all cut pieces and rems</li><li>Ensures all cut material is on a fit for purpose pallet or skids for safe packaging</li><li>Performs daily safety checks to fork trucks and jib cranes, and vac-lifts</li><li>Maintain Quality standards throughout the operational process and assists and develops process improvements</li><li>Manual lifting up to 20kgs</li><li>Ensure productivity sheets are completed each day</li><li>All PPE must be worn, no exception</li><li>Performs daily housekeeping including the surrounding work area and metal saw.</li><li>Empties the swarf skip when required and any waste bins at the end of the shift</li><li>Ensures all rems have the relevant information on the rem sticker, and on the rem itself</li><li>Performs stock take duties when required</li></ul> <p><strong>What is the Recruitment Process?</strong></p> <p>This position is available immediately and will include a face-to-face interview at company premises in Belfast.</p> <p><strong>Ready to take your skills to the next level?</strong> Apply today and become an essential part of the team.</p> <p><em>Your Recruiters Limited are an equal opportunity employer, celebrating diversity and committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
