About the Role

As a Sales Consultant at bensons for beds, you’ll be at the heart of our store, helping customers find the right products for a better night’s sleep. From mattresses and beds to all the finishing touches, you’ll use your natural ability to listen, understand what customers need and recommend the right products for them.

And when you make great sales, there’s no limit to what you can earn. Alongside your base salary and OTE, you’ll have access to our uncapped commission scheme, plus the opportunity to earn a monthly store bonus when your store hits its target.

You’ll spend your days getting to know customers, understanding what they’re looking for and using your product knowledge to help them make the right choice.

You’ll:

• Welcome customers into the store and create a great first impression

• Ask the right questions to understand their needs and recommend the right sleep products

• Use our unique sleepPRO technology and your product knowledge to find their perfect match

• Build genuine relationships with customers and deliver an experience they’ll remember

• Spot opportunities to maximise every sale and achieve your targets

• Keep up to date with our products, offers and promotions

• Work as part of your store team to achieve shared goals

• Take pride in your store and help keep it clean, tidy and looking its best

Don’t know everything about beds? Don’t worry. We’ll give you the training, product knowledge and support you need to feel confident and hit the ground running.

We’re looking for people who love working with people and love a bit of healthy competition.

You’ll be naturally confident, approachable and curious about what makes your customers tick. You’ll be comfortable having conversations, spotting opportunities and asking for the sale — while always making sure the customer gets the right solution for them.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in a customer-facing or sales environment, but we’re much more interested in your attitude than your CV.

You’ll be:

Our busiest times are when our customers are free to shop, so evenings, weekends and bank holidays are key trading periods. You’ll need to be flexible and available to work these hours.

But we know there’s more to life than beds! When you work weekends, we’ll make sure you get your days back during the week, and there may also be opportunities to pick up overtime.
