About the Role

<p>Morson are working with a leading aerospace manufacturer who have an exciting opportunity has opened within the Supply Chain operations organisation for the position of a Quality Inspector based at Belfast. <br /><br /><u><strong>Responsibilities</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>Carrying out Inspection, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Functions.</li><li>Ensuring product compliance with design specification, customer and approving authority requirements and regulations.</li><li>Providing instruction and advice to operators as and when required.</li><li>Monitoring the Delegated Operator Scheme.</li><li>Working flexibly in groups.</li><li>Writing technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies to instigate investigation and corrective action.</li></ul> <p><u><strong>Skill Set </strong></u><br /><u><strong>Essential</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>Applicants must have completed a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant post apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace environment or a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environment.</li><li>Candidates must be familiar with quality control requirements.</li><li>The ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and to communicate effectively is essential.</li><li>Candidates must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Company manufacturing and assembly practices, requirements and standards.</li></ul> <p><u><strong>Desirable</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>An ONC/ A levels or equivalent qualifications is desirable.</li><li>A knowledge of 3D metrology would be desirable.</li></ul> <p>If this role is of interest to you please reply with an up to date CV</p>
