Production Assembly Technician

£14.00 - £20.50 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Production Assembly Technician to join an innovative and growing manufacturing business operating within a highly regulated, precision-engineering environment.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in assembly, manufacturing, engineering, electronics, or quality inspection who are looking to develop their career within a technically advanced production setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble precision-engineered components in accordance with detailed work instructions.
• Carry out testing and inspection activities to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Conduct incoming quality checks on components and materials.
• Follow alignment and optimisation procedures during the build process.
• Complete production and test documentation accurately.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and fault finding within defined procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to quality, production, and safety standards.
• Work towards production targets while maintaining exceptional quality levels.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience within a manufacturing, engineering, assembly, or technical production environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with small, delicate components.
• Strong manual dexterity and precision handling skills.
• Experience following technical instructions, drawings, or SOPs.
• Good written, verbal, and IT skills.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, ONC/OND, or similar technical qualification advantageous.
