About the Role
Brook Street Recruitment is workikng on behalf of our cleint in Belfast who are looking for a new member for their Print Finishing Team.
This position would suit anyone with any machine experience in a manufacturing environment. Career advancement opportunities may exist for the right candidate.
Job Purpose
- To finish digital print to industry leading standards in a busy environment.
Summary of Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Finish digital print work to exact specifications, client deadlines and the company's high standards of quality.
- Carry out work according to Northside procedures and using in-house computerised administration and workflow systems.
- Flexibility is essential to meet client's needs
- Maintain correct documentation.
- Clean and maintain equipment.
- Undertake all training and development activities as is required.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and build good internal and external customer relationships.
- Identify and act on improvement suggestions.
- Implement and maintain best practice in communication at all times with all colleagues.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with the company's strive for continuous improvement.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Undertake such other duties as may be required commensurate with your position.
- Any other reasonable duties at the request of management
Essential Criteria
- GCSE Maths and English
- You should be able to demonstrate a high level of competency in the following areas:
- Verbal and written communication
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Numeracy
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise accordingly
- Meeting targets and achieving deadlines
- Problem solving
- Interpersonal skills
Desirable Criteria
- 2 years' experience of working in the print industry
Working Hours: 40 hours per week - shifts may be required.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience. circa 27k
There is overtime and a monthly and annual performance bonus scheme.
