<p><strong>Part Qualified Accountant</strong></p> <p><strong>Belfast</strong></p> <p><strong>Competitive Salary &#43; Benefits</strong></p> <p><strong>Full-Time | Permanent</strong></p> <p>Our client, a busy and well-established Accountancy Practice based in Belfast, is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Part Qualified Accountant to join their growing team.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for an individual currently studying ACCA/ACA/CIMA who is keen to further develop their career within a supportive and professional practice environment.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>Working as part of a busy accounts team, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. You will assist with the preparation of accounts, tax returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts while building strong client relationships.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies </li><li>Assisting with management accounts preparation </li><li>Preparation and submission of VAT returns </li><li>Bookkeeping duties using cloud-based accounting software </li><li>Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns </li><li>Assisting senior accountants and managers with client work </li><li>Liaising with clients regarding financial information and queries </li><li>Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and deadlines </li><li>Supporting audit assignments where required </li></ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently studying towards ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification </li><li>Previous experience working within an Accountancy Practice environment </li><li>Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles </li><li>Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks </li></ul> <p><br /></p>
