MV Switchgear Electrician
Northern Ireland. Permanent and contract positions available.
EndState Commissioning is recruiting MV switchgear electricians for a long running programme in Northern Ireland. There are both contract and permanent positions available on the same work, so there is a route either way depending on what suits you.
What you will be doing
- LV and MV switchboard build, installation and test
- Panel wiring, terminations and containment
- Secondary and primary injection testing
- Protection relay work and instrument transformer testing
- Interlock verification
- Working to drawings, specifications and test procedures through to handover
What you will need
- Served electrician
- Gold card or equivalent
- 18th Edition
- C&G 2391, or 2394 and 2395, is an advantage rather than essential
- Right to work in the UK. We are unable to sponsor on this work
What is on offer
- Contract: £27.00 to £33.00 per hour depending on skills and experience, with accommodation arranged and paid for, and travel home at regular intervals
- Permanent: £42,000 to £48,000 depending on experience, with a relocation package
- A programme with real duration rather than a few weeks of work
- One point of contact from first call through to your first week on site
