Master Vehicle Technician

About the Role

Our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Ballymena, is seeking a skilled Master Technician to join their team. This is an excellent Master Technician opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals looking for a stable and rewarding role within a thriving dealership environment. The Master Technician role offers competitive salary packages and the chance to develop further within the automotive industry.

Benefits:

• Basic salary of up to £35,000, depending on experience
• OTE of approximately £40,000
• Monday to Friday working hours, approximately 8:00am–5:00pm
• No weekend work
• 28 days’ holiday inclusive of bank holidays
• Full UK driver’s license required

Duties of a Master Technician:

• Repair and service of a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Conduct diagnostic checks and fault finding
• Inspect vehicles for wear and tear or general faults
• Complete work adhering to DVSA standards
• Provide high-quality customer service and clear communication
• Maintain accurate workshop records
• Assist in mentoring junior staff as required

Requirements of a Master Technician:

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in automotive repair
• Level 4 EV accreditation highly desirable
• Franchise dealership experience preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Own set of essential automotive tools
• Proven experience as a Master Technician or similar senior technician role
• Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
