We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Knockloughrim Campus. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people and helping them develop the confidence, skills, and independence needed to succeed in their education.

Working closely with teaching staff and the wider campus team, you will:

• Provide in-class support to students with additional learning needs.
• Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning and encourage engagement.
• Assist in the implementation of learning support strategies and intervention programmes.
• Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Promote independence, resilience, and confidence in learning.
• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Support teachers with classroom preparation and learning activities where required.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working with children or young people, preferably within an educational setting.
• Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student development.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Be organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
