About the Role

<p>As an IT Analyst within IT, you will play a key role in keeping the firm secure from cyber threats and assisting in the recovery of the firm's systems and services, in the event of a Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity situation.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor and respond to the threats and outputs from the Managed Detect Respond service, working with the suppliers and internal teams to seek resolution.</li><li>Triage and investigated security incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, escalating where appropriate</li><li>Conduct daily checks of the firm's security systems to ensure that they are working correctly.</li><li>Ensure all active vulnerabilities are logged in the firm's ticketing system and are assigned to the relevant team for remediation.</li><li>Work with internal teams and suppliers to mitigate/remediate vulnerabilities/security threats.</li><li>Assist with the execution of Pen Tests and work with the relevant teams to remediate the output from these tests.</li><li>Assist in the planning and execution of the annual and ad-hoc Business continuity/Disaster Recovery exercises.</li><li>Assist with the renewal process of the firm's IT / Cyber-related certifications.</li><li>Assist with keeping team documentation up to date.</li><li>Assist in the creation and maintenance of Cyber and system recovery Runbooks.</li><li>Track and analyse emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities and attack techniques.</li><li>Assist in the researching of new products and services.</li></ul> <p><strong>Key Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of vulnerability management.</li><li>Experience in dealing with cyber incidents.</li><li>Basic knowledge of managing MDR, EDR and email security systems.</li><li>Experience in assisting with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity exercises.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Knowledge and experience of working within industry best practices and guidelines such as ITIL, NIST, ISO, and CIS environments.</li><li>Knowledge of common attack types (phishing, malware, ransomware).</li><li>Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and basic threat intelligence</li><li>Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Practising self-reflection to identify and develop one's own learning needs and experiences.</li></ul> <p><strong>Who are we looking for?</strong></p> <ul> <li>We don't have a type.
