The Black Sheep Visitor Centre is looking for a passionate and driven Hospitality & Visitor Centre Manager to lead our vibrant hospitality operation. From our bustling bar and restaurant to brewery tours and retail shop, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while inspiring and developing a talented team.

The Role

As Hospitality & Visitor Centre Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of our busy Visitor Centre, ensuring every guest enjoys a first-class experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching and developing both Front of House and Back of House teams.
• Creating a positive, motivated and high-performing team culture.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
• Managing staff rotas to maximise efficiency while controlling labour costs.
• Overseeing stock ordering, inventory management and cost control.
• Maintaining outstanding standards of cleanliness, presentation and compliance.
• Driving sales, increasing profitability and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Resolving customer and operational issues quickly with a positive, solutions-focused approach.

About You

We're looking for an enthusiastic leader who enjoys working in hospitality and takes pride in delivering excellence.

You'll have:

• Previous management experience within a busy bar, restaurant or hospitality venue.
• A valid Personal Licence (Alcohol). - Preferable
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine passion for customer service.
• A passion for beer, food and creating memorable guest experiences.
• The legal right to work in the UK.

Requirements

Experience

• Hospitality or bar management: Minimum 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification

• Personal Licence (preferable)

Language

• English (required)
