Group Financial Reporting Manager

• Annual Salary: £43,916 - £53,550
• Location: Newtownabbey
• Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (2 mandatory office days / 3 home working)

Out client seeks to appoint a Group Financial Reporting Manager to ensure the integrity and accuracy of their financial reporting across the Group. This pivotal role supports effective financial management and decision-making, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and maintaining a strong control environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Group Financial Reporting - UK and ROI entities
• Group Consolidation
• Statutory Reporting & Accounts
• Technical Accounting & Compliance
• Balance Sheet & Financial Controls
• Management Information & Analysis
• Systems, Processes & Continuous Improvement:
• Audit, Governance & Risk:
• Leadership & People Management

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience in financial reporting.
• Proven leadership experience with at least 1 year managing finance professionals.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance financial reporting processes and controls.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in financial reporting within both the UK and ROI.
• Background in a not-for-profit organisation and familiarity with Charities SORP.
• Proficiency in ERP and financial reporting systems like Oracle or NetSuite.
• Experience in financial transformation and systems implementation.
