• Location: North Belfast
• Contract: 3 Year FTC | Full-time | Hybrid working
• Salary: £32,367 - £41,116 per annum

Reed Recruitment is collaborating a prominent, highly regarded non-profit organisation based in North Belfast. They are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner join their team on a full-time basis on a 3-year fixed-term contract.

The successful Finance Business Partner will by ensure robust financial management and compliance with funding requirements.

Day-to-day of the role:

Project Financial Management

• Serve as the dedicated Finance Business Partner, providing financial advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor financial performance against the funding agreement and project budget.
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and adherence to budget allocations.
• Promote strong financial management and accountability across the project.

Financial Claims & Reporting

• Coordinate the preparation of financial claims in line with requirements.
• Manage project financial queries and ensure compliance with funding guidelines.
• Analyse significant operational costs and apply appropriate exchange-rate methodology.

Partner & Audit Management

• Act as a key finance contact for project partners, guiding them on financial reporting and programme requirements.
• Maintain audit-ready financial records and respond to audit queries effectively.

Risk Management

• Identify and monitor financial and compliance risks.
• Maintain a financial risk log and escalate potential issues as necessary.

Communication & Training

• Develop professional relationships with stakeholders and communicate complex financial requirements clearly.
• Provide training on financial policies and procedures to project staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Professionally qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years managing a finance team.
• Strong experience in finance, management accounting, or financial business partnering.
• Proficient in interpreting financial policies and managing financial controls.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Note:This position requires a Standard Access NI check.
