Temporary Facilities Assistant required for Holywood Co Down
Salary: £29,071 per annum
Temporary Assignment with Potential for Extension
Monday to Friday
Reed Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Temporary Facilities Assistant to join a busy and professional organisation based in Holywood. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and works well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up rooms and event spaces, including moving tables and chairs
- Preparing meeting and event areas, including arranging pre-prepared food and refreshments
- Assisting with the movement and distribution of supplies across the site
- Carrying out building and cleaning inspections to ensure high standards are maintained
- Escorting and assisting contractors around the premises
- Supporting kitchen and canteen areas, including light cleaning and stock replenishment
- Assisting with the management of bin stores and waste disposal areas
- General facilities support duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, hospitality, cleaning, warehouse, or a similar support role
- Able to undertake manual handling activities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach
- Reliable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
