About the Role
E-Biller
We are working with a leading law firm to recruit an E-Biller to join its Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced e-billing professional who enjoys working in a busy environment, managing complex billing requirements and building strong relationships across the business and with clients. The role offers a hybrid working pattern of one day in the office and four days working from home.
The ideal E-Biller will be responsible for:
- Managing the e-billing process and maintaining client e-billing portals.
- Supporting client onboarding and ensuring billing requirements and guidelines are accurately maintained.
- Working closely with client e-billing teams, fee earners and internal finance teams throughout the billing process.
- Investigating and resolving e-billing rejections and queries promptly.
- Managing e-billing systems, ensuring client rates and billing information remain accurate and up to date.
- Coordinating accruals, budgets and reporting for submission through client portals.
- Monitoring outstanding e-bills and working with Working Capital teams to ensure invoices progress through to payment.
- Identifying opportunities to improve e-billing processes and reporting.
- Providing guidance and support to colleagues on e-billing processes and requirements.
The ideal E-Biller will be responsible for:
- Previous experience working in an e-billing or billing role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Good knowledge of e-billing systems, portals and processes.
- Strong Excel skills with excellent numeracy and analytical ability.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to identify improvements to existing processes.
- Collaborative approach with a willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues.
