About the Role
Temporary Caretaker
Reed Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Temporary Caretaker to join a busy site. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with maintenance, facilities, groundskeeping, or caretaking experience
Hours of work: 8.30-4.30pm Monday to Friday
Key Duties:
- Opening and securing buildings and grounds
- Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs
- Setting up rooms and facilities for events and activities
- Receiving and moving deliveries, furniture, and equipment
- Maintaining outdoor areas, including litter collection and general upkeep
- Monitoring site safety and reporting any issues
- Assisting with general site and facilities duties as required
What we're looking for:
- Previous caretaking, maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Awareness of health and safety procedures
