About the Role
Bookkeeper/ Accounting Technician
- Location: Ballymena
- Contract: Full-time | Permanent | Office-based
- Salary: £dependent on experience
Reed is partnered with an excellent business in Ballymena in the appointment of an experienced Bookkeeper/ Accounting Technician to join their team on a permanent & full-time basis.
The successful Bookkeeper/ Accounting Technician will support the day-to-day financial management of client’s finance department, headed by a supportive Finance Manager
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assisting the Finance Manager with month-end processes including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and accruals
- Purchase Ledger invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with weekly and monthly payroll, both NI payrolls
- Subcontractor payments and CIS Returns
- Assisting with VAT returns
- General administrative duties related to the smooth running of a finance function
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience at a Bookkeeping/ Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Level
- Highly IT Proficient
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
