<p>This role is asap - ongoing </p> <p>Interviews started </p> <p>Apply Now!</p> <p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p> <p><br /></p> <p>The Equip Programme is a Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI) wide programme to replace the existing HR and Finance systems (HRPTS and FPL) with a single cloud-based solution. This replacement will see a new system for the functions of HR, Recruitment, Pay, Travel, Finance, Procurement and Logistics. The Programme aims to equip users with a modern, usable and intelligent system to support them in their roles while allowing them to focus on their key responsibilities.</p> <p>We are seeking a skilled Assistant Project Manager who will work as part of the Programme Management office to lead the implementation of the Finance / HR aspect of the Equip programme.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>The postholder will work collaboratively with the Project Manager to support activity in relation to project delivery.</p> <p>In addition, they will work in conjunction with the regional Equip Programme Team and other key stakeholders internally and externally.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>KEY RESULT AREAS / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the deliver and the implementation of Equip in the Finance Directorate and support its implementation across the organisation. </li><li>Ensure there are appropriate governance arrangements in place for the delivery of the Finance and HR aspect of the project.</li><li>Manage systems and processes for monitoring, review of projects and associated performance milestone and benefits delivery, escalation of risks and issues and targeting of mitigating action.</li><li>Develop plans and strategies for delivery of projects. Produce documentation and reports in line with NHSCT and HSC Standards as appropriate. Report project progress through highlight reports. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in the implementation of the project.</li><li>Support in the maintaining of Project Risks and Issue Logs. </li><li>Liaise with departmental managers and related projects to ensure that project deliverables are coordinated and duplication is avoided where possible. </li><li>Support the development, review and update of Trust policies and procedures and Standard Operating Procedures impacted by the introduction of the Finance and HR aspect of the project.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Financial &amp; Resource Management </strong></p> <p><br /></p> <ul> <li>Identify resources required for successful delivery of the project. </li><li>Monitor overall progress and use of resources, initiating prompt and effective corrective action as and when necessary; </li><li>Manage and monitor all aspects of project budgets and expenditure throughout the project.</li><li>Set up project and programme structures for the effective management, quality assurance and reporting of projects and programmes as required; </li><li>Participate in Post Project Evaluations and Project Reviews to assess how well the Project was managed; follow up on ‘lessons learned’ and other actions. </li><li>Management of staff ensuring work allocated is completed accurately and to meet deadlines in regard to the new system.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Collaborative Working </strong></p> <p><br /></p> <ul> <li>Engage with relevant stakeholders in the implementation and delivery of the project.</li><li>Represent the Northern Health and Social Care Trust in local forums and other relevant structures. </li><li>Work with key stakeholders across the HSC and beyond on all aspects of assigned projects. </li><li>Communicate with suppliers/vendors as required, ensuring good relationships are maintained at all times </li><li>Provide support and work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify application development requirements. </li></ul> <p><br /></p>
