Due to the regulated nature of procurement in the public sector, the firm has established a specialist, business critical team, the Public Sector Bid Team (PSBT). Tasked with managing and supporting the firm's public sector bidding activity, the PSBT drives quality and operational improvements on public sector bids and helps the business to win work in a highly competitive marketplace.

We are looking for a bid manager to join our Public Sector Bid Team, a business-critical function at the core of Deloitte's public sector growth ambitions. Working closely with senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and bid teams from across the firm, you will help to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of high-profile and complex public sector bids.

This is a varied and rewarding role, focused on helping to develop high-quality proposals and win business.

To be effective in this role, you will be an organised and proactive professional with excellent project management skills, confident building relationships with stakeholders at all levels and be flexible in your ability to work on bids for different clients and with different bid teams.

As a strong team player your responsibilities will include:

• Providing planning and bid management support from capture through to contract award, delivering on time and to high-quality standards. This will include:

• Preparing the team for, and helping to facilitate in-person and virtual bid meetings (e.g. bid kick-off, strategy, reviews, lessons learned), consolidating the outputs and actions
• Making sure that bid teams have a clear understanding of their roles, actions, timescales and expectations
• Running bid stand-up calls, managing the action tracker and clarification questions
• Sourcing and coordinating bid collateral, evidence and supporting information
• Developing compliant proposal templates aligned to client requirements and evaluation criteria
• Collaborating with key support functions including Quality & Risk, Commercial Support and other specialist teams
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with subject matter experts and third parties who are contributing to the bid
• Coordinating internal governance, risk assessments and compliance requirements
• Organising and facilitating bid reviews and consolidating feedback to make sure that responses are high quality and aligned with the client's needs
