Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper- Saintfield

Reed Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a successful company based in Saintfield. Due to another member of staff retiring, there is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant/ Bookkeeper to join the team.

This role is offering the opportunity to work within a supportive and busy team, and the successful candidate will be offered an extensive handover period with the current Bookkeeper.

Daily duties:

• Assisting with month end duties
• Match credit notes to invoices
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Prepare documents for payment processing
• Set up new Supplier accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Weekly payroll for 40 employees
• Pension processing
• Assisting with sales ledger
• General administrative duties related to the finance desk

Essential Criteria:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role
• IT Proficient to including accounting software

Additional Details:

• Excellent salary dependent on experience
• Monday- Friday 9am-5pm
• Onsite parking
• Full-time permanent position
