Evolve are partnering with an innovative lens manufacturer who are looking for a driven and ambitious Area Sales Manager to grow and develop new business opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to build strong relationships with existing customers, manage new enquiries, and identify opportunities to drive sales through upselling and business development. This is a full-time, field-based sales opportunity covering Ireland, and we are looking for candidates based in Northern Ireland.

Ideal Requirements for the Area Sales Manager

• Proven Sales Success: Demonstrable experience in sales, ideally within an optical practice or field-based role, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong Relationship-Building Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and colleagues, identify decision-makers, and understand customer needs.
• Self-Motivated and Commercially Driven: A proactive, ambitious approach to sales, with the initiative to identify new business opportunities, manage the full sales process, and work independently to achieve results.
• Professionalism and Customer Focus: A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, with excellent attention to detail, effective time management, and a positive, professional approach in all interactions.

Role Responsibilities for the Area Sales Manager

• Build Lasting Customer Relationships: Develop trusted, long-term partnerships with existing and prospective customers, taking a consultative approach to understand their needs and deliver tailored product advice and solutions.
• Drive Sales and Business Growth: Proactively identify new business opportunities, nurture leads, and manage the full sales journey from initial enquiry through to order, delivering against agreed sales targets and growing your territory.
• Become a Trusted Business Partner: Add real value to customers by providing expert guidance, identifying opportunities to support their success, and building a reputation as a knowledgeable and reliable industry partner.
• Represent the Business with Pride: Work collaboratively with a motivated team, share valuable market insights, and build a strong professional presence by attending customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
