Sales Manager/Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager/Director to lead our sales team, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence throughout Ireland. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales strategy, team management, and business development. This role requires a proactive leader who can inspire and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets while maintaining strong client relationships and fostering new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales planning.
Create and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Team Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting targets and professional growth.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on achieving results.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and services.
Sales Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day sales operations, ensuring efficient processes and systems are in place.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to align sales efforts with company goals.
Utilize CRM tools to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and generate reports.
Customer Relationship Management:
Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving any issues promptly.
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting performance against targets and strategic insights.
Use data analytics to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as necessary.
Provide insights on market trends and customer behaviour to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
