Planning Administrator

Due to growth we are urgently seeking a Planning Administrator to work for a well known company based in Dungannon. This is a full time permanent position and a great opportunity to further your career.

 

Planning Administrator Role:

Responsible for planning and scheduling production requirements into an operational production plan
Hence Processing orders from Sales team onto order systems
Liaise with customer contacts regarding order planning
Recording and presenting data of sales/order and stock trends
Develop new spreadsheets and presentations as required
So Ensuring the continuity of supply to meet customer requirements
Monitoring supply schedules on a daily basis
Liaising with relevant personnel and customers to ensure plans are accurate and achievable while ensuring efficiencies are maintained
Check product specifications and make adjustments where necessary
Set up of product code on Navision
Assisting within the Primal Shipping department

Requirements:

Educated to at least GCSE Level or equivalent combined with production experience especially relevant
Previous experience in a production planning role is desirable
Knowledge of meat products and production processes would be an advantage
Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Excel & Word
use your own initiative
be a self starter
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
to work effectively in a team
Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets and pay great attention to detail
Flexible approach to working hours is essential
