Currently we are seeking to hire Sales Assistant to join our team in Belfast.
As a Sales Assistant you will work at the till, maintain a clean store and well stocked shelves. And supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations.

To be considered for this role, here are the skills we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3 months experience in Deli or other Fresh Food Retail for Deli Assistant role is required
• Conversational English Language level is essential
• Proficiency in one of the Eastern European languages (e.g.: Romanian, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Croatian, etc.)
• Sales experience is preferred
• Full flexibility is required, including the availability to work on day shifts: 5 days a week from Monday to Sunday, which may include bank holidays

Main duties of a retail Deli assistant typically include, but not limited:

• Preparing and serving deli food products such as raw meat, sausages, fish, cheese, etc.
• Assisting customers with their deli orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the deli area, including cleaning equipment, counters, and display cases.
• Monitoring and rotating stock to ensure freshness and prevent waste.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and following proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Performing heavy lifting tasks, such as moving crates of stock or large food items, as required for stocking and organisation.
